Moses

We can’t begin to imagine the pain and fear this big, strong gelding has been through. He was sent to be sold at an auction where horses are crammed together into open pens, bumping into each other and fighting for what little resources are offered. For Moses, this must have been utterly terrifying because he is completely blind and unable to see the horses around him, or identify his surroundings. That stressful day at auction is now only a memory for Moses who now contently resides here with us at Gentle Giants. He has settled in and is living with Ambassadors, Yoda and Big John. Moses is as sweet as can be and seeks support and reassurance when he is nervous or unsure. Our compassionate team of animal care technicians and volunteers have all done a wonderful job of making Moses feel comfortable in those moments and he is acclimating incredibly well. Boarding facilities will not be a good fit for Moses, but we are confident his perfect home is out there!
