Sponsor a Horse

Gentle Giants is funded solely on donation from our generous supporters. Those who choose to join our sponsorship program help us provide the essential care our herd of 150+ horses and mules need. From refeeding emaciated horses, like Ripley, to the complex vet and farrier needs of our horses battling canker, costs can really add up. Today, with the rising cost of hay and grain alone, we are spending upwards of $40,180 each month.

How Do I Sponsor a Particular Horse?

Meet our horses in need of sponsorship (filter by “Needs a Sponsor”) and click on their picture to learn more about them.

Once you have identified a horse you are interested in, click on the Sponsor Me button within their individual profile. You’ll be prompted to set up a monthly donation based on the level of sponsorship they still have available and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the program with you. 

Get to Know Your Sponsored Horse(s)!

We frequently send our sponsors special pictures of their horse(s) and welcome you to schedule a meet and greet to get to know your horse in person. Opportunities to meet your sponsored horse are offered quarterly and must be scheduled by appointment and with advanced notice.
