Meet Shay! This beautiful girl was left at auction with several bloody wounds on her hind legs. They were covered in a purple antiseptic spray that is more commonly used on chickens. Their last minute effort to show some type of ‘treatment’ couldn’t hide that these wounds had been left untouched for some time. Once Shay arrived, she had a full spa day to remove all the blood and dirt from her legs and body. We even deep conditioned her mane and tail! She’s already starting to heal beautifully!
